NSW & Qld Kayak State Titles are done. NSW States tested us as the first hit out for 2012. Most paddlers from around the country competed, as well as Paul Wycherley from the UK and a couple of Italians. We won the K4 1000m and I was happy to make the K1 1000m final as well and put in a solid performance.
It was good to see some old faces racing. My Beijing K4 teammates Robbo & Schuey having a race.
Our K4 stayed in Penrith for a quick camp (best camp ever) before heading up to Kawana Waters for Qld States.

Training's on track for selection, which is only 5 weeks away. We'll be heading back down to Penrith 1-4 March 2012. I'm pumped to race. Olympic trials are some of the biggest races you can do. Check out for details.
